If I were to rank the "best" Hip shows I saw I would rank 31 of the 32. I can't rank the 32nd and final show. It's unrankable. I have no idea if it was an objectively "great" concert - I think it was, particularly given the circumstances - and quite frankly I don't care. The experience was unlike anything I'll ever get to do ever again.
I saw Pearl Jam play my hometown in 2005, which I never dreamed would happen in a million years. I've seen them 41 times; again, I can theoretically rank 40 of them in some sort of order but I can't rank seeing them in Thunder Bay. That and the last Hip show are in a category all on their own.
