AFD is easily one of my favorite albums of all time, probably top 5 for me. I was about 13 when it first came out. My buddy's older sister was a big metal head/hard rock girl and I remember her playing it in their house a lot during the summer of '87. Eventually I bought my own copy, which held a permanent spot in my walkman rotation for about a year or so (or at least until I discovered the Hip and Up to Here). My friends and I played the s**t out of that album. I doubt I'm gonna spring for the entire box set, as it's crazy expensive. But I'll likely pick up the double disc CD with all the b-sides. I already own the latest pressing of the vinyl, so no need to double dip on that. But it does look tempting.

Top five for me as well. It got a lot of hockey dressing room play in my circles in the late 80's. Even without re-mastering, Appetite has a great, gritty, sound to it. If I was to add up all the time that I've listened to every album I've owned over the years, my cumulative total for Appetite would probably be number 1.
