Wow. Had no idea people hated Summer so much. I’ve loved the song, especially Live, since 2004.
I think it’s the most purely fun song on the album. It’s catchy, love Rob’s guitar, Gord’s vocals suit the song almost crazy-sounding. Plus, it’s catchy. Why do people hate it so much?

I like Summer too, especially live. It was one of the highlights of their set for me when they opened for The Stones in Moncton! It's the only time I caught it live.

I still haven't voted, re-listening to a few tracks as I type.

I'm with you guys. It's a snappy hit-and-run tune, love the bridge, lyrics, melody, and Gord's loose and unhinged vocals. Having said that I understand the hate for this song. Took me a lot of listens to come around to it. I don't understand all the hate for Heaven though. One of the best songs on the album imo
