[The Horrible Esthete]

Esthete, congrats for the big win. I have asked some Ohio St. fans in the past, right after the game mostly, but I was wondering if you thought that the pass interference call in the Miami-OSU title game was legit... I know you are biased, and it's a few years after the fact and it doesn't really matter, but what's your opinion on that call?

I think it was legit, even though the contact was somewhat minor. I watched that damn play a hundred times, and it was clear to me that the DB made contact before the ball arrived. Though it was slight in nature, rules are rules. You cannot have a national championship game end like that.

Besides, I think OSU was owed that one anyway. Those refs called an OSU reception along the sidelines in the 4th quater incomplete, though replays showed otherwise. It forced a punt instead of what would likely have been another field-goal (at minimum), meaning those infamous OTs would never have occurred! :twisted:
