What does it mean to say that X is a "Gord Sinclair" song? Does it mean that it was built on his bass idea, or that the melody and main lyrical idea are his, or even that he wrote the lyrics as well as the melody - ? (I know Gord refused to sing lyrics he hadn't written, but it's surely not inconceivable that he softened this position over time, especially on a record as sprawlingly bloated as M@W).
