This concert was Gord's epitaph. Through his own words and those of brothers Mike and Patrick over the past week, this is the work he wanted to be remembered for, and it should stand shoulder-to-shoulder with the Kingston show. I attended the Secret Path shows in both Toronto and Halifax (which now stands as his last concert performance) and while it would be nigh impossible to capture the emotion in the room, this film does a tremendous job. The focus on the band was kept to a minimum and the attention was placed on Gord and every pained and tortured look on face as he poured his heart into this performance.

I loved every minute of LTR, but the singing at times was inconsistent in quality (for example, Blow at High Dough is rough while the sound check for Morning Moon is stunningly beautiful). In contrast, this Secret Path performance is a 500 ft homerun. Gord absolutely crushes it with a singing performance as sensational as anything he's done in the past 15 years. I could watch this over and over again and get the same goosebumps every time. It's an emotionally meaningful performance on several levels and it deserves to be recognized as an all-time classic performance piece.

Agreed. It was a stunning performance. Easily Gord's best vocal performance since the '09 WATS tour.
