Whom Are You Going To See ?

Recently bought tickets to see The Northern Pikes 30th Anniversary of Big Blue Sky tour. It's a great pop rock album with some classic 80's Canadian songs like "Teenland" and "Things I Do for Money" and I'm looking forward to seeing it played in full. It's second only to Snow in June as far as Pikes albums go.

Ever hate a song so much that you cant get past it and try and enjoy other songs from the same artist? That me with TPOH.... I hate “im an adult now” so much that I flat out refuse to listen to anything else in their catalogue. Irrational, I know. But that song is one of my all time most hated songs

Yep, one that I can think of off the top of my head is "No Rain" by Blind Melon. I heard that song so much in 1992/93 that I began to despise it and would have been quite happy if I had never heard anything else from Blind Melon the rest of my life. And I wouldn't have if not for one of my brothers turning me on to their second album "Soup", which is an underrated gem of the 90's. As for "I'm an Adult Now", if I was to pick one thing that always bothered me about that song, it's the line "Like some cheese-eating high school boy". It's cringe worthy. Other than that line, I like the song.
