At the Hoffman Institute, counsellors advise him to stop working with the Tragically Hip – a band that lubricates recording with Coors Light, Guinness and wine, referred to as "goof juice."

Counsellors? Goof juice? What?

I've never really gotten BSS...Hug of Thunder???
