Cant fault anyone for that, but I still have a hard time thinking that every team in the NE wouldnt deal their starting goalie for Ryan Miller straight up right this second! By the way Im not going to mention that Buffalo's #1 and #2 D-Men have been out of the lineup. I just wont do it.
There is no doubt that Miller is awesome - when he's playing - but aren't there a lot of concerns about his stamina? I seem to recall in the playoffs last year they were talking about him being too skinny and running out of steam in the playoffs - and he admitted to being exhausted. And he's hurt right now, and he was hurt for a good chunk of time last year as well, was he not? Isn't this why the Sabres don't really want to deal Biron? Because they're concerned about Miller's ability to take on the rigors of being a #1?
Anyway, just saying that I think Miller is a great goalie, but I think right now the jury is still out on his ability to be a solid #1 day-in and day-out. As much as I hate to admit it, if I could pick any goalie to be the Leaf's #1, I'd take Huet or Emery ahead of Miller (unless Raycroft can continue playing as well as he has - then I'll change my mind at the end of the season. ).
