Anyone have any ideas on how distribute extra tickets in a fair way? Some sort of a lottery or something like that.

I think a number of hipbasers are going to be loyal to friends who have hooked them up with tickets or trade in the past. Friends or fans they have seen over a decade of going to the smaller venue album release/american shows shows, posting on the hipbase etc. I know if I had extras those would be the people I'd message first, followed by those with an older registration date/postcount if I have nothing else to go on. Bandwagon friends messaging me this past week asking for tickets are going to take a backseat to people I know have been loyal hip fans. It may be inevitable that everyone who secures a ticket feels the process was "fair" and everyone who misses out will feel that it wasn't. Above all I am hoping for "fairness" in the form of a majority of ticketless being credit card entry seats, and few ending up in the hands of scalpers or allotted to ticketmasters official scalping program.
