Excellent album. It's not quite as great as Wasting Light in my opinion, but it's still an exceptional piece of work. Not to mention a really cool concept album. The HBO series that the album is based on is one of the most compelling music documentaries I've ever seen. Can't wait to buy the whole series when it finally comes out on DVD/bluray. Full marks to Dave Grohl and the Foos for pulling this off.

This week's Sonic Highways was just plain fucking fantastic television! The stories of Rancho De La Luna, Daniel Lanois, Kyuss, Josh Homme, Joe Walsh, The Germs, Joan Jett, & Palm Springs were so interesting!!
