Id say that Sarnia was the best of the 3 shows that I have seen of this Gord Downie and The Sadies tour so far. Burlington was my eye opener to the power of this mix. Harvest Festival being next inline proving that it is no fluke and these guys mean business, Sarnia cemented that as the Globe and Mail said, the best live act in Canada right now. Huge like Sarah said, you must have been right behind us, there was 5 of us standing right infront of Dallas and a bit towards the middle infront of Gord. I got a set list from Billy and a pick from both Travis and Dallas. We also found ourselves chatting with Dallas and Travis and Gord after the show for about half hour, just shooting the shit, totally cool night and a great experience. Well worth the drive to Sarnia, Those 5 free beer drinks that everybody got when they entered were a great idea also. If anybody here at Hipbase has not seen these guys play on this tour yet, they are heading out to the East Coast now. DO IT.
Hey Sarah, good videos, Im going to start taking my other camera with me, the one I took is good for pictures of nature and stuff but not good for concert photos or videos, im gonna pull my old cannon back out and start using it again.
