The people going to these types (the 2011/2012 festival type) of shows aren't going to the show to hear non-radio songs. They're going to the show to get drunk and celebrate Canada Day by singing along to those songs they've heard on their rock station a million times.

I think the boys know the type of show they have to play according to the type of crowd attending. I think (at least i hope) they'll go back to the less "greatest hits" show if they get back into the theatres.

Well put TG. Also, if anyone takes the time to listen to Paul Langois's interview from a few days ago, it sheds some insight on why the setlists are not too diverse. I'm officially hopping off the "rag on the band of boring setlists" campaign...lol. Bring on Windsor!
