I've always done it this way:
Which is more or less the same, but throwing in the minor chords makes for a little more colour.
Doing it that way, I like to do it in A with a capo on the second fret, because I like the chord voicings you get for the D and Bm, which gives you a descending bass line back to the A. Your mileage may vary.
