Not true Mr. Goulet. There is nothing illegal in Canada or the US with placing wagers. What is illegal is taking a percentage of the wager.

So let me get this straight:

If I place a bet with Johnny Four Fingers down at Pauley's Meat Shop every Sunday of the football season and win every time....

...Are you telling that the $$$$ i win is free and clear, and the only guilty party is the one profiting from bankrolling the ring?

If not, then who cares if the act of making the wager is legal?
