The Tories have dumped candidate Derek Zeisman in British Columbia. The party learned that he was charged with attempting to smuggle a car and alcohol into the USA a few years back. Harper said that it is too late to choose a replacement candidate, but if he is elected, Zeisman will not sit as a member of the Conservative caucus.
