Instead of the generic Newbie title for new Hipbase members, how about giving them the title : "The New Maybe". This would be a clever title as often people are huge Hip fans, and not a member of Hipbase. They then come to Hipbase and see that they are called a Newbie, can feel somewhat degrading.

What about the Ladies of Hipbase?

And by that I mean, there are female members; it's not my suggestion for a new category title!

for the ladies, how about Brides of the Northern Woods (ala Tom Thompson) or Cordelias?

Ooh, I like that one! :jump There have been some good ideas overall, but I think that either the people reaching those posting heights should choose, or have Lance decide... after all, it is his site! (and Lance, I know you'll probably say it's "our" site, and you're right and I like you for that, but you're the one that puts the work into maintaining it, so that should give you the final say on some of these things).

I also like Shane's idea to change "Newbie" to "The New Maybe"... well done, I say! :thumb:
