If the guy was yelling he had a bomb, then you can't fault the air marshal. But if that part of the story turns out to be a fabrication -- as with the de Menezes thing -- then I'd be asking why. Cops don't lie for no reason.

It's that simple.

I'd agree with that, if they are lying about him yelling he had a bomb or something along those lines, then I'd wonder if they were covering something up. I'm sure his wife was trying to tell them that he was nuts, but in those situations you can't be sure that isn't a diversion.
