I agree. Credit where credit is due, the string of insults was damn funny (it had a whiff of Triumph the Insult Dog about it), but the whole thing seemed pretty uncalled for, from what was recorded on tape.

Okay, so the guy is drinking and talking at a club. Shocker!!!! hock: Is it rude? Yes. Is it unexpected? Hardly. Is it Nathan Whatshisname's job to lay into the guy like that? Doubtful, unless there were verbal barbs being directed at him specifically, or if someone was getting visibly upset/hurt on account of the joker's actions. But I'm sure someone in the guy's vicinity could've told him to pipe down while the song was going on.

Yeah one can get a little sensitive to distractions when in front of a crowd, but seriously, if you're so concerned about hearing chatter going on THEN DON'T UNPLUG YOUR FRICKIN' GUITAR!!!!!!!
