I work for the North East ambulance Service.
If you dial 999 (like 911 but even easier to remember) I come along and prod you with things, wire you up to machines that go 'ping' to see if you are OK.
I get to play with fun toys and take people to A&E (Accident & Emergency, like ER but without the dramatics)
