i dont mean to rain on your parade but fell on black days and spoonman are both in 4/4 but they both do have more complex rhythm

I'm pretty sure the intro riff to spoonman has alternating time signatures. One bar in 4/4, one bar in 3/4. The choruses are probably in 4/4.

I was trying to think of other hip songs in different time signatures. But I couldn't, so this post is doomed to offtopicness.
