THANK YOU BUFFALO!

I don't think I was ever chirpy, or claim that Ottawa had more 'character', or 'grit', but I'm still here. Obviously I'm fairly unhappy about the outcome of the series so far, and have to struggle to find an ounce of hope, but what really frustrates me about this series is that while all three games could have gone either way, what let us down was our defence. Ottawa's defence has been so effective all year, and to falter the way it has in this series is just another embarrassment (at least this year, realistically, it seems the goaltender will be off the hook, as Emery should).

The fans in this city have put up with a whole lot in the last six seasons, and while I never made a claim that this team had 'more character, more grit, or more heart', this was a fantastic team that was expected to go a lot farther than it appears they will.

And your whole claim that Sens fans our minute, or non-existent is growing old. As far as I can tell, you've never lived here, never been here, and are providing an irrational argument based on a statistic you think you thought you might have heard on a radio show, which in all honesty is fairly irrelevant when what occurred after the initial ticket sales left the team second in arena capacity. This now deflated city was once extremely vibrant with Sens fever, and as I leave this forum topic with a now disgustingly cliched "We'll be back next year", I just thought you should no that you are wrong about Ottawa fans.

I'm still here also. They are my team and I will stick by them win or lose.
