I don't think its about one particularly thing at all. It's about dealing with emotions/pressure (when the appearance of conflict/meets the appearance of force), and how one handles it. With skill, determination and grace, too.. Not about one person/thing/an event, uses the "imagery" of prostitution perhaps as just that, an example, an illusion. Again, that's my $0.02, but I don't think this song is about something as evident as an actual event.

well, whoever the characters are, one set of imagery for me is date rape or aggressive seduction (or whatever vague 'grey' area you might imagine), or perhaps in this context of a prostitute, a 'bad trick'?
