'Live Between Us' was recorded at Cobo Arena. I believe it was originally built with the intention of hosting concerts and other large events. Cobo Arena was the home of the Detroit Pistons at one time and there have been hockey games held there also.
The arena has great acoustics and many popular bands have recorded live albums there. Bob Seger recorded 'Live Bullet' there and I believe KISS and The J. Giels Band also released live albums recorded there.
I live in the Detroit area and I was lucky enough to attend that show. The arena holds somewhere between 13,000-15,000 people and I remember it being full of Canadian and U.S. Hip fans.
