Time to get over it, they will be wearing the original blue and gold for 15 of the home games, anyway, and I think the playoffs. I have seen them play a preseason game with it and it is not as bad on the ice as it is, close up.
It's how they play that counts and they are still winning with it (5-1 in preseason).
The Toronto media keeps ripping on it.

They should spend more time worrying about actual hockey play and how the leafs will miss the playoffs and have nothing to celebrate this season except the 40th anniversary of their last trip to the cup! (or is it 39th?)
