My apologies, Mr Canuck. I didn't mean for my post to sound bitchy, I was just bored and did a quick calculation that I found fascinating and wanted to share with everyone. I agree with you in that it is the owners who pay the players, and offer huge contracts. The players just took what was offered them, and I certainly won't blame them for it. While I am on the players' side in terms of salary, I wish BOTH parties would get out of their cubby-hole offices, and get back to the bargaining table. Replacement players aren't too far away...

i agree, i didn't mean to be so aggressive with my post, i think we're all just fed up and frustrated with this whole mess, as the temperature continues to drop and the puck doesn't *sigh*. i've been hit extra hard by this year's MLB playoffs and the ongoing misfortunes of the Miami Dolphins. at least the Raptors are playing well, hopefully i'll get out to a game this year.
