Man what I love about this album is, it really seems that every Hip fan has a different impression.
To be honest, at first listen (like most Hip albums) I was a little let down by this album, however it quickly grew on me.
I was shocked to find that most Hip fans didn't agree with me that "Family" was not most peoples fav's, I guess I just love the softer songs...
But every fan has their own tastes, I was also surprised at The Darkest Canuck's rating, putting Family and Nashville near the bottom, two of my fav's.
I also really like Heaven, and liked it even more when I discovered it's true meaning. Once you know it, it just goes to show that Gord's electric vocals have so much passion behind them in this song, and it makes it that much better.
But if you don't like the song, that's okay too...
