I instituted a policy in my classroom that on Friday a student can bring in a cd for the class to listen to, as long as it doesn't contain explict lyrics etc.

Today, a student handed me a burned cd that simply said "mix". I put it in and went about me rounds making sure that each group was doing their work.

Then, an awful, whiney and artistically void set of noises filled the room. The student had selected to play a mix of Nickleback.

I have adopted a new policy -- the cd must not completely offend my personal tastes. :lol:

Just joking.......actually you need to institute a rule that all music played must have at least two Gord's in the group..........that will avoid any other potential headaches...........
