For sure... don't just scream incessantly, but I see nothing wrong with singing along - loudly even.... C'mon, the energy in a concert when there's 16000 people singing along with Gord!! I remember a show in Hamilton years ago where the crowd literally drowned out Gord during Blow... I thought it was magical....
Well, I guess you've never been stuck in a seat in front of someone whose singing voice sounds like a chain-smoking cat in heat.
Shouting along when the place is going bonkers during a popular barn-burner like Blow is one thing, but it's the drunkards and losers who want to "show" everybody how big a fan they are by shouting the lyrics to every other song I paid to hear Gord sing that almost drives me to violence.....
I hardly think that the show will be 'annoying' and 'irritating' for people to keep their big mouths shut. What gives someone the right to belt out the lines if it ruins the experience for others?
Just another characteristic of the "It's All About ME" generation.....
