I've GOT IT! Don't laugh, but Norm Macdonald. I know he is fidgety and nervous when on talk shows but that would be the beauty of it. He is one funny dude and I'd watch. Other than him, maybe Howard Stern.

He is surely one funny guy, but a talk show? I remember him saying something along the lines that he could never host a talk show because he's not good at pretending to be interested in what people have to say.

I can't really imagine him sitting there and looking anything less than bored out of his mind as some stupid celebrity guest talks about some inane point of their daily life.

Maybe if they ditched the late night talk thing and did something more like the daily show, a news type of format. Norm was the king with the fake news on SNL. Seems unlikely though.

i'd love to see norm do the show, but i agree with sfissel, with the kind of lame guests the late show gets, norm wouldnt be "on"

i actually still kinda pissed that they they cancelled a "minute with stan hooper" i loved that show
