I think this should be a whole new thread.
The best recorded vocal has to be NOIS on 'Up to Here.' Everything from the opening bass tones to the concluding screaming, it's all a wonderful exercise in controlled dementia.
Beyond that, I'd probably rate 'Titanic Terrarium' or 'Into the Night' as my favourites. His voice on those tunes sounds worked in, wordly, but also fragile---a great delicate balance of strength and frailty.
