I don't think it's a terribly negative review. The one thing I don't understand is his grooping in Gus with the first two songs. He says the first 3 are divergent from the rest of the album, which I'd agree with him on except for Gus, which I think is very much a staple of the album. So I don't quite understand what he's getting at there. I don't think the album abruptly changes with vaccination scar.
