I've never known anyone to get into a gig for the soundcheck - sadly. Although, I went to see James Dean Bradfield at The University Of London Union a couple of months back. We went up to the student bar there to have a drink and some food, and it turned out that the stage etc was just across the hall from the bar, so we could hear the whole soundcheck really clearly!
