Maxim Review
#13

I was searching MAxim for the review of the album and couldnt find it. However this review for Music @ Work did come up:

The Tragically Hip
Music @ Work (London/Sire)

Like those pesky French, who feed tourists snails while scarfing cheeseburgers, Canada has shoveled manure like Celine Dion on us and kept its good music close to home. But the guitar rock of The Tragically Hip could not stay a secret forever. Their ninth album, Music @ Work, is way better than the Matchbox/Third Eye/Dolls drivel that dominates American modern rock radio, with tracks such as “Freak Turbulence” capturing the energy that has made them one of the best concert bands in any country. To miss that would be, well, a tragedy.

Also, I remember in an early issue of MAxim, Live Between Us was listed in their top 100 albums for road trips. There must be a Canadian or two working for Maxim... :thumb:
