No, I didn't have any idea about Peter's 'history'. The only two people I talk with off the board who have dealt with him both had complaints, going back to last year. I wasn't really aware of the scale of his bootleg sharing. I am not the first person who has complained about how this went down, but I will hopefully be the last.
Truth be told, the fact that I got ANYTHING from him is good news to me because as far as we knew, he had disappeared or could have suffered further setbacks in his personal life. The fact that I got something, even if it is completely wrong, is reassuring because I imagine I will *hopefully* be able to get in touch with him and fix the mistake. The depth of my knowledge about how he handled problems was limited to two people who did have a problem with him - the issue was sending wrong stuff, but this was last year - and they never did get the correct material from him. I only had one side of the story, really, but it painted a picture that corresponded to the impression I already had so I thought he might just be a sloppy character.
