I don't think suicide is so awful. I think everybody should have the right to end their life when they see fit and no Bible thumper should ever tell people they're going to hell if they commit suicide because it makes life seem even more bleak to someone in need of either help or a way out.

I really have to disagree with that. When I was in high school my best friend died in a car crash. The school and the community were devestated and rallied around her family to give them support. Two months later a guy who went to the same school, and saw the sadness that surrounded her death, killed himself.

To me that was the single greediest thing that he or anyone else could have done. She did not have the choice to live; he had the choice.

You sure that was the sole reason he decided to end his own life..? the sadness caused by your friends' death? Maybe there were things going on in his life that no one else knew about. I'm not trying to justify what he did but it just seems so extreme.
