One of my best friends, Mike (you may know him better as Drez7), turned me onto them a couple of years ago. The first song I ever heard was New Orleans Is Sinking. I had heard the song many times at hockey games and always liked it. Then Mike played some more of their music for me and I was hooked. I went out and bought Up To Here and listened to it alot and then I bought the rest of the Hip albums.

On a side note:
I must be the most spoiled Hip fan there is...I have seen the Hip live 3 times and have met all of the members twice. Call it beginners luck...
