Just bought the excellent new Mahones album "The Black Irish" the other day. Thanks to this thread I've rediscovered them again. I must have seen them live at least a dozen times back in the day. Seemed like they played Calgary at least once every couple of months back then. Sometimes opening for other bands, and sometimes on their own. One of the best live shows I can remember.
