On The Today Show on NBC this morning they were doing a special on the importance of hockey in Canada. They showed some kids playing in the OMHA and they did a very short interview with the PM. At one point, they did a little montage of the kids playing hockey set to the opening of "Courage." It was pretty cool.

Pizza Junction - North Tonawanda
The Depression Suite

My buddy and I were sitting at the bar having a couple and they have the internet jukebox there.
One of the tunes I picked was The Depression Suite.
When it came on, my buddy goes - "Damn Dana - you picked some old school shit"
Apparently he only thinks he is a Hip fan.

"We're forced to bed, but we're free to dream"

They played a bit of 'Courage' at the Habs game last night. I don't remember the name of the player who got hit, but he stayed down for a while, and the song kicked in when he finally got up. Plekanec, maybe?

About two weeks ago, the juke box at the Graceland Buffalo Wild Wings here in Columbus randomly picked Honey, Please. I was pleasantly surprised!

If I told my g/f she'd have to hear the hip on out wedding day she probably wouldn't marry me. Sad

Today at my school, they played Boots or Hearts over the PA before first period, I was so happy cause normally they play really crappy music at my school and after first period, they played Bob C! I was really surprised
(On another note, when the sub i had for french heard these songs he told the class a story of how he saw the Hip in Stoney Creek before they became well known and a huge bar fight broke out. The sub said he has seen the Hip 13 times, i think. One of the best subs ive had in a while )

Yeah, i had the guy before and he pretty much lets you do whatever you want and always tells random funny stories. today we were supposed to do some questions and he showed a movie about the history of rock and roll, it reminded me of jack black in school of rock lol

New Orleans is Sinking, Firkin & Pheasant, Chicago. I think the Blackhawks are responsible, though. They apparently put together movie-style Our Players Are Awesome montage clips to send out to the bars that host the roadwatch parties; NOIS is the soundtrack for Brian Campbell's.
