Ticketbastard just called me!!!!!!
#31

Got mine too. Is this just for those who called/emailed? If not, that is incredbible that the band would do that..

Wow, what a class move on the part of the band/management. They must have really put the screws to ticketmaster. Maybe they matched emails registered with thehip.com with those who complained.

This is a gesture that we hope will be appreciated by those people who attempted to buy tickets and could not AND that provided accurate information that matched our information - one reason to try and keep up-to-date information in your profile.

I have done my best to match email addresses to information provided to me and the matches I was able to make are the people that we were able to extend this to. Unfortunately, as is always the case, I was not able to match all names to email addresses.

cheers.

Amazing you guys rule!

Unexpected and not necessary also unfortunate they had to pick up the slack because of the screw up by Ticketmaster...Another reason we are all so loyal :thumb:

want to be a nobody without peer
want to be a thought that's never done
want to shake your faith in human nature
want to break the hearts of everyone
want to be your wheezing screen door
want to be your stars of Algonquin
want to be your roaring floorboard
want to break the hearts of everyone

What a gesture Mav?

Question though... I know someone who was able to get tickets, never complained to ticketmaster and they still got the $15 email.

How did that work out?

THIS IS BS!

I WOULD WAY RATHER PAY $55 AND SEE THE HIP THAN GET A MEASLY $15 THAT WONT EVEN COVER THE "CONVENIENCE CHARGES" ON MY NEXT PURCHASE. SERIOUSLY THOUGH, $15?? WHAT A FRICKIN' JOKE.

NOT TO MENTION THAT PEOPLE WHO ACTUALLY GOT TIX GOT THAT $15 TOO..

NEVER WILL I USE TM AGAIN.

WHAT A JOKE.

let it go maybe? who cares?

i dont think you have any real appreciation regarding the amount of work that went into making this happen.

just be happy...but i suppose i can say that cause i DID get an email regarding the coupon and didnt get tickets...and if someone happened to get tickets AND a coupon then um GOOD FOR THEM!!!

do you complain when people get closer tickets than you as well?? holy moly...we're talking $15 here...

sorry to rant on but i just had to.

I think you have a serious fucking problem distinguishing between a question and a complaint!

Mav said that he matched emails from complainers to TM with emails from members.

So I'm curious how my friend would then get this email.

Actually, if you REREAD my post. I did not use the word COMPLAINERS. Just so we are clear. I matched email addresses to a list of names provided to me, as best I could. I was provided a list of names. For too many reasons to mention, I will not pretend that this a perfect solution, but it was what we could do. Kudos to the Management team for making it happen.
