They fell to the same fate as the others Im afraid, too bad they were pretty cool. London boys to boot! I saw them live here ages ago, I still play there album quite regularly.

Weeping Tile- Cold Snap.

Definitely one of my favorite Canadian albums of all time. I LOVED this band. My favorite Weeping Tile memory is a show they did in Calgary back in '96 or '97. For the encore they all switched instruments (with Sarah on drums) and played an amazing cover of the Beastie Boys' "Sabotage" that absolutely brought the house down. Even better was my friend Kim and I enjoying a round of beers with the entire band and chatting with them for a while after they opened for the Skydiggers at Wild Bill's in Banff. Good times!

The Arc Angels. A great blues rock CD. IF you bought it ten years ago, try it again, if you didn't you can get it dirt cheap at most record stores now.

How very timely...I pulled this album out on Saturday, and have been listening to it in the car since.

The Tea Party- Interzone Mantras

Just put this in the cd player the other day and rediscovered the Tea Party before they met Bob Rock. This is one of their best efforts IMO. It's hard rock and it's fine music.

Pearl Jam- Vitalogy

I threw this CD on this morning as I was doing various administrative crap at my store. Before today I hadn't listened to it all the way through in probably 8 years or so, and I almost forgot how awesome and unique this record is. I was a big fan of the Jammers from day one, but for me this was the album that proved these guys were much more than just a "grunge" band. I've always kind of thought of it as Pearl Jam's Day for Night. There's so much cool music on that album: the kick-you-in-the-nuts opening of Last Exit, the hyper punk-rock of Spin the Black Circle, the radio-friendly melodies of Better Man, the gentle acoustic despair of Immortality, and who could forget the disturbing album closing noise-fest, Stupid Mop. And then you've got Corduroy, Whipping, Not for You, Tremor Christ, Nothingman, and Satan's Bed. Just a fantastic record all around.

This album is without question in the Top 5 on my "greatest rock albums of all-time" list. I still play it frequently. I've listened to it a thousand times, i swear. Progressive for its time, unique sound & style, incredible composition. Still blows my mind.

Not to mention it was a great soundtrack for my reckless & carefree college days :twisted:

I have been going back and forth to work with;

Jesus Jones - Doubt
Jane's Addiction - Nothings Shocking (never got into RDLH)
Soul Coughing - Ruby Vroom (got Mr Doughty's Haughty Melodic permanent on the MP3 player)

I have also been revisiting the Coctau Twins while in the house
