time to breathe a little bit of life to an old thread
When I first started watching this show about 6 months ago, i really didnt like all of the little inaccuracies of the firefighting. As a firefighting student, all i could do is point out what they are doing wrong or things that a firefighter would never do...
...but after a few episodes, it kinda grew on me and now I cant get enough of it.
So the second season just started here, 2-3 episodes in, and i gotta say this is one of the best shows I've seen in some time. And upon further review of my original thoughts on the show, I have come to terms that this(or really any) "TV" show is never gonna be 100% accurate, and I can take some of the over the top actions in stride. If you havent seen the show i strongly recommend it!

Leary is always really passionate about the show when I've seen him on various promo stops. The fact that he lost friends and family on 9/11 must make this authentic and emotional, that seems evident from the reviews I've read here and elsewhere. I'm looking forward to seeing it.
The guy also organizes charity hockey games with Bobby Orr, so how can ya not like him?
