they have to be a certain size, if the picture is too big it wont work, you can size it down in paint. thats what I do. hope that helps

As Eric said, the avatar (not aviator - that's someone who files...) must be the right pixel dimensions, and right file size - the specs are on the profile page.

Quote:Displays a small graphic image below your details in posts. Only one image can be displayed at a time, its width can be no greater than 100 pixels, the height no greater than 100 pixels, and the file size no more than 14 KB.

The banners in the sig must be posted somewhere on the internet, and then you write the BBCode to include it in your sig.

Eric's Habs' image is located at http://www.canadiens.com/_static/emails ... Header.jpg

It's not something that he uploaded to Hipbase - he just wrote the BBCode to include it.

Get it?

There's too much malapropism for me to handle. From "aviator" to "files". Tongue Well, tehnically, the comment about "someone who files" may not be malapropism and seems to be just a case of a spelling mistake but anyway. Carry on. Tongue

Er, no. Someone who files would be an administrative assistant, or possibly a machinist.

An aviator would be someone who operates on airplanes.

No, wait. That would be a flight surgeon....

Just to add, you can upload your own banners to somewhere like www.photobucket.com - They'll then provide you with the relevant BB code to post into your sig.
