^ The Bata Family's (yes, Bata Shoes) cultural legacy to Toronto. At Bloor & St. George, just at the top end of U of T campus.

Never been in it, but very interesting architecturally from the outside. And if you're keen on architecture, go check out the Ontario College of Art & Design (OCAD). This building always makes me smile:

Take the SteamWhistle Brewery tour, its right near the Skydome.

Imagine a world before the "beginning was the word.”

Now were really getting somewhere.
Thanks again.

I'm looking for some "hole in the wall" ideas too.

Go to BMV* at Yonge & Eglinton (east side of Yonge, just north of Eglinton) -- fantastic used books, dvds, etc.

* (Books, Music, Videos -- not to be confused with HMV, which is right across the street)

you'll have a great time doing this if you get to. not to mention you can drink all you want after the tour and you get a case of steamwhistle to take home.
