I believe the Hip will announce in this month (July) a Canadian tour for Sept-Oct. Does anyone know anything else about this?

I don't know about the Cdn tour, but I just got tickets this morning for the Orlando show on Oct 20th that hasn't even been announced on The Hip's webpage or thehipclub.com.

I stumbled across the tix on ticketmaster looking for some House of Blues concerts to attend while I'm in Orlando for a couple weeks in October. You can imagine my sheet surprise when I saw The Hip was one of the bands. I about fell off my proverbial chair!

So who knows...but I know for sure they'll be in Orlando on Oct 20th.

Well, they'll be releasing the Western Canada dates first, and then Ontario and Quebec later on in August. But they're just going to be playing in theaters this time round.

Do you like the idea of them playing in smaller venues like theaters for this tour?
If so, which venue would you pick for them to play in?
