man that sucks for all you guys...
what I find interesting is we all had the same information provided to us as Hip Fan Club members. Some used that info differently than others thats all...
don't diss the process.
I go to my fare share of concerts and I wish more bands offered this.
I've seen band like U2 for example that will charge you for that privilige.
Somehow I think the venue would have had a riot on their hands if they told all the fans in line to wait they are going to take the phone lines first.

I have to say I was thoroughly dissapointed with the "pre-sale". I tried to get through on the phone for several hours today and never got anything but a busy signal. One person answering the phone? That's a joke. If I had known it was going to be that bad I would have tried for the Toronto show through Ticketbastard.

i purposely skipped the Toronto show to go to this one...smaller venue, lower ticket price and better opening band (I enjoy Buck 65, but the Constantines are better)...

the presale is looking pretty good right now...just ask the poor fans standing in line today who were told the show is sold out !

So after trying to get tickets for 2hours and taking time off of work finally got thru and pulled 17th row - thought great but then decided to go to the boxoffice and this is what i see



Why were tickets being sold to basically anybody? and why did it say phone only? Are Petes fans more entitled? No mention of Password? Another thing the lady at the box office said they were lined up way before 10am, I would of whent down and stood in line if need be - Really it just doesnt seem right

Grab yourself a copy of Saturdays Examiner and read THE FRONT PAGE!
This show was SOLD OUT in hours
It seems that presales in general are not going over big .
They are even conducting an on line survey to do away with them !
Be glad you got seats at all...its a wonder there wasn't a riot down there. I guess thats why there was a heavy police presence !
The only true solution to this is...
THE HIP NEEDS TO BOOK ANOTHER SHOW IN PETERBOROUGH !
