A setlist/song/venue search for thehip.com
<!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.thehip.com/Resources-Songs.html">http://www.thehip.com/Resources-Songs.html</a><!-- m -->
If there is anything that I Can add, please let me know. This is still rough and there is some bad data that i Have to get rid of and a couple of other things, but I thought i might throw this out there.
This will eventually link up to THSP and a couple of other things.
MAv.

May I suggest a "Download" link next to each setlist, like on pearljam.com . :lol:
If at all possible, may I suggest (if at all possible) the ability to search more than one song at once. For example, just scroll down and select "The Bastard" and perhaps another song such as "Sharks" and you can see which setlists are compatible with the two.

As opposed to "venue", how about a search by city option? (And the multiple song thing suggested above would be cool, too...)

Mav, U2's tour/setlist database is awesome.... If I can recommend a great example of how to connect, interact and search for nearly any song/setlist...ie....city, date, songs.....etc...... its endless.. :thumb:

I think MAv's already seen this one, but if you're a Guided by Voices fan and need help sorting through their catalogue and gigography (and you will), this is pretty effective:

Might I suggest also removing the "Live Between Us" tracks? Since they are just live versions album tracks, they don't draw any results. Although, I would think that leaving the Hipeponymous tracks up there would be smart because there will be fans that have just purchased the box set and don't know what album/order they were orginally from. It's also a good way to cross-reference to see if the search feature is working!
Nice work MAv!
(and I second the suggestion of putting a "purchase now" button beside the results!)
