goin' both nights and seein' a band called Particle Saturday at the Magic Stick. Love that place.
official pre-party headquarters for tonight is the Town Pump, about a block behind Hockeytown Cafe on Montcalm. State Bar is nice because it's right next door, but I'm thinkin' it's gonna be nutzo by 6:30, and it's always easier gettin' a drink at the Pump. Was never a big fan of Hockeytown Cafe, either. To each his own, though.

I have a group of friends who will be with me and my wife for tonight's show. My wife and I and two others will be going to the second show on Friday. Then we will leave Saturday morning from Detroit to get to the Cleveland show that evening. Three days of Hip concerts.....

What time do you think they'll hit the stage Friday night? If doors open at 6:30, opening band prob. starts at like 7:30? then Hip on at, what like 9? Does that make sense?

The local Buffalo news station, Channel 2, said the Hip were playing a quick set to open the first round playoffs between the Sabres and the Islanders. Given that they dont take the stage in Detroit till 9, is this possible?

Channel 2 said Strictly Hip were playing at the party at the arena before the game.
