Maybe she meant "Something On?" The phrase 'phantom power' does come up once in that song. Ofcourse, the phrase 'something on' comes up about 50 times in that song but, hey, not everyone is hip to the obvious.
Yeah, it is at the end. As tiger said, it's really no big deal and I'm sure she did mean Something On, but I guess it just irked me a little.

Okay - I want to start this post by letting everyone know that I used the Search feature to find a thread that this post could fit into instead of starting a new thread on 'rediscovering' the Hip.
The line to worship me forms to the left. I like chocolate.
Ofcourse, I see now that I was the second last person to post in this thread so perhaps I should have just remembered that it was here. I see the line is dissipating. Okay then. I still like chocolate.
So... The rediscovery in question is Heksenketel. Our VCR choked on a tape two years ago or so and we never bothered replacing it. I'm such a whore for DVD special features, I never really cared to watch VHS tapes anyway. A couple weeks ago we decided to get another VCR finally because, what the hell, they're cheap and we have VHS tapes.
You see where this is going, right? I watched Heksenketel for the first time in 5 yrs, probably.
This viewing was the first time that I noticed Johnny slagging Thunder Bay for being small. Excuse me, big city boy? In population, Kingston is about half the size of Thunder Bay, you git. And that's only if you include Queen's in Kingston's population. Don't get me wrong, there are probably more pick-up trucks and snow machines per capita and you're far more likely to get into a bar fight on a Saturday night in Thunder Bay than any other city in Ontario, but we're not that hick.
But still, it was cool to re-visit the Roadside Attraction days - Gord's beard, Paul's frequent trips to the bathroom, Rob's vests... It takes me back to my grad school days. :thumb:

Dammit. I guess I should have looked up the census before I made my outraged post. Why did I think Kingston only had around 60,000 people.
Ah well, mea maxima culpa. :oops:
But - we're not that much smaller than Kingston! So, my outrage is still intact. Although, it's greatly diminished.
