Mav.,
I'm not sure if its possible, or even if its a waste of time.
However, when DMB tours, they release real-time setlists through their official road site (linked off their main http://www.dmband.com in several places).
Some techie releases the name of each song as it is played live, and people following online can see how the show is shaping up.
Personally, I think it's kind of cool. I was following the show in Toronto last night cuz a bunch of friends were there, and it was neat to see what they were seeing at the time.
Is this an idea for the Hip's next tour? Is it worth the effort?

Personally I could go either way on this one, chances are good that if the Hip is playing within 8 hours of my house Ill be there so its not a big deal, but for all the other shows I guess it would be cool, but chances are I wont be sitting in front of my PC on a Sat. night waiting for the setlist to surface. I'd take it a step further and do like Pearl Jam and make all of the shows available for download that same night, or webcast them. Why limit ourselves to the setlist, you gotta think big Blesser! I want it all Im greedy and I love the Hip.
Imagine a world before the "beginning was the word.”

I like to think big as well. Nothing wrong with live set lists though.

i think it is an awesome idea. i don't sit at home and watch the dmb setlists, either... but it is great to have an accurate setlist first thing the next day. you don't always get that when you have fans submitting them. and even if they do, they aren't always accurate.

Well why not just hoof me in the nuts while you're at it!!
Great, so I can sit at home and watch the songs getting played to all you lucky 'Oh look at me, I come from a country where the Hip actually play' people with your smug passports :-p while I gently and lovingly stroke the t-shirt I bought last time I saw them in the UK which was FIVE BLOODY YEARS AGO!!! (although admittedly they did have good reason to cancel the Cardiff gig) missing it and being jealous.
But on the whole, not a bad idea as it would also give people who still have dates to come more of a clue what their show might shape up to be.

Personally, I could care less about live setlists. However, downloadable copies of each show a day or two after, a la Pearl Jam would be mint.
I think it would be a good charity thing too. Perhaps the boys could donate some of the profits to a charity, since I doubt releasing downloaded shows costs that much in overhead... does it?
